UDF Fight Night 14: Sm Arms Championships

What a night of excitement UDF 14 turned out to be. We saw many great fights, an exhibition match featuring the UDF Champion, Cadaver, and a Main Event Sm Arms Tournament. Plus the league welcomed back veteran fighter Actionfrank formerly of Team AP. And we also got to welcome some new faces while welcoming back some of your favorite UDF talent.

Starting the excitment off tonight was the battle of the rookies as Gunncody & Craig (Slappy) welcomed each other into the arena inboth of their first singles bouts. In the end of this extremely close fight, Craig emerged Victorious,

Gunncody took on UDF Champion Cadaver in place of Demon who lost due to his inability to attend. We also watched as Actionfrank returned to the arena.

In other fights we expected to see NCardia take on Old and Jackal, both failing to show giving NCardia 2 more wins bringing him to a perfect 7/0 record.

L (formerly Sonic) earned his first win in the singles division. This was am important win bringing L up 5 slots to #23.

But in our main event, just when Gunncody thought things couldn't get worse, he emerged victorious in the Small Arms Tournament with a score of 50. He proudly earned his title as The UDF Sm. Arms World Champ.

We spoke with the champ after the fights and had a chance to ask him about his latest acchomplishment. Here's what he had to say

"Thanks to NCardia for recruiting me and Cadaver for Training me. I learned things from him everyday we worked together."

When asked what his strategy was, he says, "..when I ran out of bullets, I made sure not to let the 2nd place person kill me..." He bluntly added, " Shoot for the head and chest area and try not to get shot.."

No doubt his tactics worked, he says to prepare for the fight he practiced by shooting windows with a pistol while running past them. And daily practicing in the servers. But surely he had to have some major hurdles to get past.

When asked, he relied simply with, "Hmmmm. good question uh really no one gave me trouble and the only thing i could think of that gave me any trouble was running out of ammo and waiting to get killed to get more."

Well Gunncody certainly did not disappoint fans and fellow fighters this evening. He will make a great addition to the league. He has this to say about his experiences with the league.

"UDF is one of the best things the people in df2 came up with, it gives you a chance to get together with your team and do fun events, and also have teams participate in fight with other teams, which is what teams are supposed to do. Otherwise your just a single player with the same tags as other people and so what is the point of having a team if your team doesn't fight other teams."

In conclusion, he says, " I will be looking forward to attending more UDF Fight Nights and am eager to take on any challengers for my title."

We witnessed UDF Knife Champ, Bluelace, defend her title against UDF's Dr. Eli. Bluelace emerged victorious in a very close battle which lead to a rematch in UDF Fight Night 13: Bluelace vs Dr Eli.

Among the UDF 11 event, we witnessed history as Cadaver from Operation S@T toppled the UDF Champion of the World, El Mexicano, taking his title in a full 5 round match of pure meyhem. Both fighters delivered on their promises of an intense fight which kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.
